Overview

This is the Black Berry version of SHADOW Time of Death.  With help of this application you can calculate the time of death by entering the date and time of measurement, the deceased temperature and body weight, the air's ambient temperature, the body's covering, and if the body is in water or dry.

In addition, it calculates the range of times death would occur within two standard deviations (~95%).

SHADOW uses the Henssge formula for calculations.

After downloading follow the installation guide on this page to be able to use SHADOW Time Of Death in your Black Berry.

Installation Guide

1. Copy Files to Black Berry

1.1 Using USB Cable

Connect your Black Berry using USB-Cable and create a new folder in the Black Berry drive under documents called SHADOW.  Unzip all the files from the download and put them into the SHADOW Folder.  You should have 5 .cod files and 1 .jad file.

1.1 Using Memory Card

Access the Memory Card from your computer and create a new folder inside called SHADOW.  Unzip all the files from the download and put them into the SHADOW Folder.  You should have 5 .cod files and 1 .jad file.

2. Open Media Center

Access the Media Center in your Black Berry and then press the Berry Button to access the special functions, you will see a Explore function, where you can look for new Media/Programs in your phone.

3. Find SHADOW in File System

You can then search your Black Berry or Media Card for the SHADOW Time Of Death application that you copied in step 1.

If you used the Media Card you should find the Folder SHADOW inside there.

4. Install SHADOW

In the SHADOW folder you should find serveral .cod files and 1 .jad file. 

Click on the Shadow.jad file and you shouldget a confirmation for downloading the application into your phone.

After this SHADOW Time of Death should be available unter your downloaded applications.
